The third in the series of Bach’s Keyboard Works by Cornelia Hermann who won the highest prize at International J. S. Bach Competition as the youngest contestant at the age of 19, focuses on Bach’s ‘Italian’ pieces. The album includes the famous ‘Italian Concerto,’ as well as ‘Aria variata alla maniera italiana,’ Bach’s variations of Italian composers’ works. It was recorded in Umbertide, Italy, on the great Italian piano Fazioli – an album of everything Italian
